We’ve had this cord for about five or six months now and it is doing a great job. It is a nice weight and thickness which makes it easy to handle and lit at both ends which makes it easy to see in a dim garage. This is a quality extension cord and should hopefully last as long as the 30 year old cord it replaced. I also appreciate that it is made in the US.

I try to keep my workshop tidy, but it seems impossible to work without extension leads all over the place. I like to use colored ones to identify them. I’ve got blue, green and yellow at present. It seems like worthless cosmetics but I know how long each one is so it helps. It’s nice to add this dark red one from Anthem Cables to the collection. even though it is quite short at six feet it will still be very useful.The color is a not quite bright red but not quite dark red either. It’s the color they paint racing F1 Ferraris in some years. At each end is a transparent connector that has an orange light inside. When you plug the cord into the mains the orange light glows at each end. I haven’t had illuminated cables before so it will be interesting to see if they offer advantages.The cable is thick and chunky and gives a sense of quality without being too stiff and unmanageable. The connector attachments at each end are strong.This is a nice extension cable from Anthem Cables.
