Was so excited to get my can opener yesterday, just so that I could attempt to use and as usual, send it back, because no one could possibly make a can opener that wasn’t upside down, inside out and backwards and was user friendly to a south paw. It is truly “The World’s Best Can Opener”. The handles are easy to grip and they are slightly longer than the ones from the all in one superstore and the coating on the handles had a nice feel in your hand, and not to bulky at all. Cuts perfectly, turn handle is smooth, it doesn’t come off of the can half way around the lid (where you end up with little spots that didn’t get cut). I immediately said goodbye to the old one. And made in the USA and supports our vets!!! Definitely worth the money spent. So…..buy this can opener!!!

I like having a manual, hand held opener, however some of them are really flimsy and don’t hold up. That’s not the case with this opener – it’s sturdy, easy to use, and glides nicely through the actual opening of a can. Another plus for me is that it’s US made by a Veterans group – win, win! I not only recommend it, I’d purchase it again.

This is exactly the kind of can opener that I, as a senior, was looking for. It pierces the lid without forceand then just glides around the edge as it cuts. No force is necessary. The ONLY thing that might be added is a magnet to hold the lid.
