Purchased only one pair of these to try first since the price was higher than average everyday cotton socks. They were fabulous, so subsequently ordered four more pair.I work from home and wear comfortable name brand slides inside all day and name brand tennis shoes outside and I noticed my feet were sweating a lot, not to mention the odor (TMI I know). I read up on socks best made for wicking and found that merino wool and/or alpaca were best and found these, which are a merino wool/alpaca blend.I wore the socks multiple days and was extremely happy. No more problems. The fit is perfect! Not too hot, wick well, comfortable and soft, yet sturdy. I launder in a laundry bag and hang to dry. They are well worth the price and I will no longer wear cotton socks.

I wouldn’t have known these are alpaca wool from the feel. I regularly have wool socks and they feel a tad rougher than Smartwool. They are very warm, too warm for early fall which is good news for winter. I’m a size 8 womens and they are snug around the ankle already. I washed in cold and laid flat to dry.

This is the 3rd time I ve made the purchase.That says a lot about the comfort and quality of this socks .To the seller , don’t change the formula and materials of the socks . Best socks I had .

This doesn’t look, feel, or has the temperature and humidity management features of alpaca.Listing says it’s 68% alpaca but it’s NOT the case. This should be flagged as a sc^m in the system. Returning this ASAP.
