Updated Review 8/6/2023: I am impressed by the responsiveness of this company to my issue with the inconsistency of the product. They reached out to me, and explained that they discovered a supplier who was operating with a faulty dehydrator, and they were no longer using that supplier. I received another package, and it was the perfect consistency for my pup. I am so glad to be able to continue to purchase these treats because my dog has severe food allergies, and sweet potato treats are one of the few foods he can have in addition to his prescription dog food. And he really loves these treats! Thank you, Davie’s Sweet Potato Treats, for the great customer service.(Original Review: I have purchased these dog treats 22 times, so I have a great deal of experience with this product. Now that my dog is older, and has had some teeth removed, it is sometimes hard for him to eat the treats. The issue is that the product is inconsistent in its texture. When the treats are soft, they are great for my dog. They are bendable, and we tear them into smaller pieces because our pup is small. But lately, the treats we have been receiving are hard; not bendable. We can break them into pieces, but the issue is our pup has a hard time chewing them. Unfortunately, we have to look elsewhere for a product that my dog can easily chew. So sad, because our pup LOVED these.)
